Et Al . . . et al

As the ideas emerge and evolve not all become the inspiration for a series, or fit into a niche with others.

Two smaller series, Empyrean and Vattenfall, are of the heavens and the earth.

Some of the following have been experimental. Some simply stand as themselves. Some have been for fun.

Empyrean

A visual treatise on the heavens.

This series explores how the sky can be seen and interpreted in mythology, through astronomy, and within anyone’s imagination.

Vattenfall

Njupeskär Vattenfall, on the Norwegian Border, is Sweden’s tallest waterfall. As it faces Northeast, and is close enough to the Arctic Circle, it only receives direct sunlight on the two days either side of the Summer solstice. This gives the falls, and the entire canyon, an air of Nordic mystery and opens the imagination to the possibility of inhabited spirits.

Each interpretation is one of inclusion and emergence: the painted body and countenance are as one with the water, rock, and revelation.
